Bill grew up in Broward County, graduating from Northeast High. He received his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Duke University in 1977 and his Juris Doctor with honors from the Florida State University School of Law. He has been admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court. Bill is a member of the Broward County Chapter of the American Planning Association and the International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate.

His practice specializes in the representation of developers, land owners and business ventures before the various Federal, State and local governmental bodies of Broward County. Bill specializes in land use plan amendments and re-zonings, real estate transactions and contracts, plat and site plan approvals, developer agreements and governmental negotiations/lobbying, administrative hearings, variances, conditional uses and code waivers, code enforcement proceedings, environmental and impact reports, building permit and code disputes, landlord/tenant matters, and corporations.

Bill has a strong involvement in local and state politics and numerous community organizations including the ARC Broward, Inc., Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, Inc. and Project Horizon. His clients include Waste Management, Inc. of Florida, Lumbermen’s Mutual Casualty Company and Rick Case Honda.

Bill resides in Broward County where he is an avid sports fan who enjoys hockey, baseball, water skiing and golf. Bill is also involved with the Florida Marlins and the University of Miami.
